Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

Infusions are utilized in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enrichments are utilized for certain items that are ascended back. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, however doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.

Insignias and enchantments will show their names on the item upgrades's hover display, while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and view these special characters as well as standard symbols such as em and en dashes as being trademark symbols registered to be used.

Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. It also has up to four Secondary Stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by additional bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you have that can be applied to the selected item. Note that only the right type of Glyph can be applied to the selected item and each weapon, jewelry or armor piece has distinct sets of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be leveled up through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a area is, the greater Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it can be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

After a Glyph reaches the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow down the list of glyphs by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves establishing an account on a different account to increase your chances of obtaining a character or weapon you want. It is done to for you to increase your level faster or to obtain more loot, such as the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players roll again until they find the characters that they like, regardless of their power. This could be due to the fact that they like the design or character.

When you reroll, you need be sure that the changes you are making are clean. You should verify locally if the patch passes pre-commit and run a core dev test. You should also upload the patch to an issue by using a plain diff (see What's the deal with an interdiff? ).
